Divine on Hold

Four-panel Hell Cat comic. Tom is a silver tabby with green eyes; the mostly gray kitchen contrasts with the sisters’ blonde hair. Panel 1: Hailey and her younger sister Mae leave through the kitchen door wearing backpacks. Mae waves. A speech bubble says, ‘Be good while we’re gone, Tom!’ Tom sits beside an empty bowl. Panel 2: A small, tired-looking horned demon in a black suit emerges from a swirling black portal, holding a binder. He tells Tom, ‘Mr. Secretary. Heaven is on line one.’ Panel 3: Tom silently places a paw on the rim of his empty bowl while the demon leans forward. Panel 4: The demon pours kibble as Tom eats, saying, ‘I’ll tell them you’re in a meeting.’ Heaven can move mountains. Apparently, opening a bag of kibble requires a different department.
